PURPOSE: A conductive fabric is provided to be used for an electromagnetic wave shielding by having excellent electromagnetic wave shielding characteristic, low cost and by preventing allergy due to skin touch. CONSTITUTION: A conductive fabric has a first plated layer formed of copper on the surface of a fabric of polyester. A second plated layer of stainless steel is formed thereon. The copper forming the first plated layer is a metal having excellent conductivity and effective for shielding electromagnetic waves, but the copper is oxidized easily. Thus, the stainless steel layer is formed to prevent decoloration of the copper. A plated layer formed of nickel on the copper cause dermatitis due to allergy. The stainless steel layer is not harmful for the skin of a human body and conductive fabric is produced at low cost.
