PURPOSE: A combustion apparatus for a burner is provided to reduce harmful exhaust gas and to increase combustion efficiency of the burner by installing the combustion apparatus on a fuel intake side of any kind of burners using for a boiler or the other heating purposes. CONSTITUTION: A combustion apparatus(20) for a burner is combined to a fuel intake side(E) to increase combustion efficiency. In the combustion apparatus, a plurality of porous combustion channels(21) having a plurality of gas flowing openings(12) are mounted to be laid one by one with keeping an equal distance therebetween by two opposing retainers(13), so that a gas flowing path(25) becomes longer and contact surface of the flowing gas against the porous combustion channels(21) becomes larger and, thus, gas combustion efficiency may be improved. In addition, a plurality of gas flowing guides(24) are provided on outer peripheral portion of the porous combustion channels(21) to make swirls in one direction, so that, likewise, the gas flowing path(25) becomes longer and also contact surface of the flowing gas against the porous combustion channels becomes larger owing to increase of momentum of the not-burned gas. Therefore, the combustion efficiency of the not-burned gas may be increased. Furthermore, the combustion apparatus is plated with a catalytic metal to provide recombustion of the not-burned gas and to minimize the discharge of the harmful not-burned gas.
