PURPOSE: A system for advertisement auction and its method is provided to efficiently conclude contract between an advertiser and providers of site to put an advertisement using the internet. CONSTITUTION: A system for advertisement auction is consisted of first and second terminals, and a web server. A provider of advertisement sites can communicate with a web server of an advertisement auction site using a first terminals and input information about advertisement sites through the screen of advertisement auction. An advertiser can also communicate with the web server, and input and search the order information about advertisement through a second terminals after selecting items about regions, names of companies, and merchandises. The web server for advertisement auction has two functions of running auction procedures and classifying advertisement sites. The function for running auction procedures concludes contract due to previously defined rules after receiving data from the first and second terminals. The function for classifying advertisement sites classifies information about sites to put advertisements sent from the first terminals, and stores the classified information at the database.
