PURPOSE: A float for fishing is provided which is able to precisely show a bite of fish and make fishermen perceive well the movement of the float. CONSTITUTION: In the float for fishing(1) comprising a float top(10) and a float body(20), the float top(10) has a bite-perceiving mark, wherein the bite-perceiving mark comprises a first displaying portion(40), which is inserted in the float top(10) to freely move along the up and down direction of the float top(10) and has less specific gravity than that of water, and a second displaying portion(50), which is fixed on the float top(10) at the upper side of the first displaying portion(40) to prevent the first displaying portion(40) from separating toward the upper side of the float top(10).
