PURPOSE: A driving device of an air conditioner compressor for a vehicle is provided to improve performance of a compressor by making sure and stable electromotion by driving a compressor by connecting an engine to a shaft by a coupling. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(2) of an air conditioner installed in a large vehicle such as a bus is driven by being connected to an engine(1) of a vehicle. A shaft(4) for driving a compressor is installed to a power steering pump(3) connected to the engine. A coupling(5) is installed to the shaft and combined to a spiral combining part(7) formed in a pulley(6) of the compressor. According to the starting of the engine, the power steering pump is driven by the starting power. The shaft rotates the coupling and the coupling rotates while being combined to the spiral combining part. By the rotation of the coupling and the pulley, the compressor is driven. Thereby, the air conditioner is driven.
