PURPOSE: A fault detecting device for a memory module is provided to detect an error of the memory module by checking the memory module with naked eyes while the memory module test is carried out. CONSTITUTION: A fault detecting device for a memory module comprises a connecting pad(200). A power supplying portion is provided to control a power voltage. A first slot(210) is connected to the connecting pad(220). A second slot(220) is connected to a first slot. A comparing section(230) is provided to compare the data inputted from a data line of the first and second slots(210,220). A displaying section(240) displays the data value by receiving the data from the comparing section(230). The comparing section(230) includes a detecting resistance and a logic gate for comparing the potential difference between both ends of the detecting resistance.
