PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing a paper winding of a printer is provided to improve the reliability of the printer by preventing wrinkles of a paper and malfunction of a transfer roller and a fusing roller since guide elements are provided to guide a paper toward discharge hole without winding on the fusing roller. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing a paper winding of a printer includes a main guide element(22) provided around a discharge hole between a transfer roller(15) and a fusing roller(18), through which a printed paper is discharged, for guiding the printed paper toward a discharging direction while preventing winding of the paper onto the fusing roller, and an auxiliary guide element(24) mounted below the main guide element so that the printed paper passes through between the main guide element and the auxiliary guide element, wherein the main guide element has a front end part which faces to the fusing roller and is inclined upward, and the auxiliary guide element has a front end part which faces to the transfer roller and is inclined downward.
