METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONNECTING GUIDING TELEPHONE NUMBER

PURPOSE: A method for automatically connecting guiding telephone number is provided to resolve an inconvenience for dictating a telephone number of an opposite party on a paper and memorizing the telephone number by automatically connecting a subscriber of a guiding telephone number according to a request from an inquiring subscriber of a telephone. CONSTITUTION: If an inquiring call is provided to a switching device(10) from a subscriber telephone(ST1), the switching device connects a corresponding inquiring call to a guider terminal(ST2). If user of the subscriber telephone talks with a guider and the guider inputs inquiring information in the guider terminal to designate a desired telephone number(ST3), the guider terminal searches a telephone number corresponding to inquiring information from a telephone number database(ST4). The guider terminal provides a sound guiding command to the switching device and transmits a guiding sound for inquiring as to whether it is wanted to automatically connected to the inquiring telephone number to the subscriber telephone(ST5). If the automatic connection is selected through a keypad of the subscriber telephone(ST6), The switching device connects a telephone of a searched telephone number provided from the guider terminal to a telephone of the inquiring call(ST7).
