METHOD FOR COMPENSATING AND DISPLAYING RECEPTION SENSITIVITY OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A method for compensating and displaying a reception sensitivity of a mobile communication terminal is provided to compensate the difference of the reception sensitivity on a radio signal, the difference being due to variance of components in the terminal and to a reference voltage for an A/D converter in a baseband controller chip, thereby increasing reliability of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A reference voltage is applied to the baseband controller chip, so that the reference voltage of the A/D converter in the chip can be compensated. In case of the compensating the reference voltage, the terminal goes into a compensation mode. A radio signal having a reference value for a radio signal strength indicator(RSSI) is supplied to a radio frequency(RF) module, which sets the reference value for the same in order to compensate the reception sensitivity of the radio signal. The compensated reception sensitivity thereof is displayed based on the set reference value.
