PURPOSE: A method for measuring the data input-output of communication equipment is provided to measure the input-output condition and lag of a communication equipment in case of measuring the transmitting and receiving data of the input section and output section of the communication equipment. CONSTITUTION: A receiving data(RXD), a control signal(CS) and a timing signal(TS) jumped between a data communication equipment(11) and a new equipment(13) are inputted to a measuring equipment(14). A receiving data(RXD) jumped between the new equipment and a data terminal equipment(12) is inputted to the measuring equipment(14). Thereby, the measuring equipment(14) analyzes pass lag time and data frame length for the new equipment(13) by comparing the receiving data(RXD) inputted to the new equipment(13) from the data communication equipment(11) and the receiving data(RXD) output to the data terminal equipment(12) from the new equipment(13),
