LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display(LCD) for a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow a user to check displayed information by displaying a frequently checked icon on one window and other icons and a character display part on the other window. CONSTITUTION: An LCD includes a character display region(30), a function status display region(40) and a divided display region(50). The display region(30) displays character information. The function status display region(40) is provided with a plurality of icons by which a state of a mobile communication terminal is shown for a user. The divided display region(50) displays the icons which a user checks often by enlarging them. The character display region(30) and function status display region(40) are provided on one display window. The icons of the divided display region(50) are displayed on the other display window.
