CIRCUIT FOR COMPENSATING BACKLIGHT ILLUMINATION

PURPOSE: A circuit for compensating backlight illumination is provided to re-light lamps without restarting whole system when the lamp is turned on unstable or even when the lamp is not turned on. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for compensating backlight illumination includes a voltage detector(11), a comparator(13), a switch and a lamp illuminator. The voltage detector(11) detects a reference voltage illuminating a lamp. The comparator(13) compares the reference voltage to estimate illumination of the lamp with an output voltage of the voltage detector. The switch(15) outputs signals to reactivate the lamp selectively according to the output voltage of the comparator. The lamp illuminator outputs a signal for turning on the lamp, a signal for turning the lamp after actuating a heater and a signal for turning off the lamp sequentially.
