PURPOSE: A predistortion power amplifier with gain and phase compensation function is provided to compensate the operation temperature, gain change and phase shift of a power amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A predistortion power amplifier with gain and phase compensation function comprises a variable attenuator(1102), a variable phase shifter(1118) for compensating phase shift, a linearizer(1000), a power amplifier(3000), a directional coupler, a delay line and an error signal detection unit. The attenuator(1102) compensates gain according to the change of the operation condition of the power amplifier. The linearizer(1000) reduces the distortion component generated in the power amplifier. The directional coupler samples signals output from the power amplifier.
