PURPOSE: An advertisement and opinion poll method are provided to give a chatting user economical compensation while allowing the user enjoying the chatting, offer an advertisement owner or a survey requester an effective advertisement or survey media and allow a chatting site operator to make a profit from the advertisement owner or the survey requester. CONSTITUTION: An advertisement and public census method comprises steps of the internet user inputting a personal information to become a member of the chatting site, a chatting operator constructing a plurality of chatting room groups with different entrance conditions, preventing the chatting user from constructing other chatting group, allowing the user to enter a chatting room group according to a condition, preparing for a point accumulation chatting name table, the user selecting one among the point accumulation chatting name table or a self chatting name, allowing members more than two to use the same chatting name, accumulating the point just when the member selects a point chatting name and then chatting with others, counting the point based on the chatting time and use numbers, and giving the member various methods such as cash or gift according to the accumulated points.
