PURPOSE: A structure for reinforcing a strength of a suction grill of an air conditioner is provided to prevent damage of a suction grill due to an external force applied to the suction grill by modifying a shape of reinforcing pieces formed on ribs of the suction grill to bursted reinforcing the strength of the suction grill. CONSTITUTION: A structure for reinforcing a strength of a suction grill of an air conditioner includes a main body, a front panel coupled with the main body, a suction grill formed on a front surface of the front panel for drawing a room air into the main body, a plurality of grill pieces(11) and a plurality of ribs(12) formed in the suction grill, and a plurality of reinforcing pieces(13) formed on respective ribs, wherein the reinforcing pieces are extended from a front end part to a rear end part of the respective ribs.
