PURPOSE: A method and system for electric bill service are provided to consult consumers' convenience and reduce cost of mail receipt of bill publishing offices such as public agencies and an enterprise and relieve problem of man power consumption by noticing and paying bills and taxes for specific services provided to consumers, who have different discriminating signals according to address/individual/telephone number/businessman register number, through virtual space such as internet and by managing paid receipt details according to discriminating signals and by providing economic information according to discriminating signals based on the paid receipt details. CONSTITUTION: A method and system for electric bill service includes several steps. A first step is that a host server(10) collects charge details of many consumers from several bill publishing offices. A second step is to calculate one or more collected bill details and to set up database according to a consumer and payment date(12). A third step is to produce individual charge bill for consumer as electric documents based on the established database(12). A fourth step is to transmit the produced electric document to the consumer who has individual discriminating signal according to specific address. A fifth step is that the consumer checks the charge bills and pays them. A sixth step is to classify the paid receipt details according to individual discriminating signals and to establish another database(13). A seventh step is to provide domestic account book as economic information to each consumer based on database(13) for the paid receipt details.
