PURPOSE: A method for recording charging data in the switching system is provided to record the charging data recorded in a charging disk by dates. CONSTITUTION: A charging data recording control part receives a charging data from a charging data generation part in an access switching subsystem(202). The charging data recording control part determines whether the charging data reaches 1Kbyte(204). The charging data recording control part names the 1Kbyte data as a charging data file having a file name of today date, every time the charging data reaches 1Kbyte(206). The charging data recording control part judges whether there is an old charging data file having the file name of today date identical to the currently named file(208). The charging data recording control part opens the old charging data file if there is an old charging data file having the file name of today date identical to the currently named file(210). The charging data recording control part records from a recording point of the old charging data file opened, until the charging data recorded in the charging disk satisfies a uniform date file(212).
