NOVEL GENE SYG972 INHIBITING CELL GROWTH AND EXPRESSED PARTICULARLY FOR CELL DIFFERENTIATION, AND AMINO ACID SEQUENCE THEREOF AND CANCER DIAGNOSIS USING IT

摘要

PURPOSE: A novel gene of SYG972(sequence 1), its amino acid sequence and cancer diagnosis using it are provided which are expressed highly in placenta, renal gland, skeleton muscle, heart, spermary and ovary, and especially expressed very highly in cells such as a nerve cell or ganglion which has finished differentiation. The nucleotide, its fraction, its mutant, peptide derived from it, and antibody of the peptide can be used for cancer diagnosis as that the expression of mRNA is reduced in breast cancer tissue comparing with normal breast tissue. CONSTITUTION: A SYG972 gene is isolated by the following steps of: isolating mRNA from HL60 cell line and HL60 cell differentiated with TPA; subtraction hybridization of them; isolating a gene increased in HL60 differentiation model by northern blot of cDNA obtained.
