PURPOSE: A method for connecting at a gateway and transferring a voice data is provided to consume less resource between gateways and rapidly connect voice communication. CONSTITUTION: A gateway of a transmitting side receives a connecting request from an user and performs a setting work to allocate computer resources(201). The gateway transmits a connecting request message(202). The gateway of a transmitting side receives a response message in response to the connecting request message(203). The gateway decides whether a received response message is a connecting rejection message or a connecting confirmation message(204).
