PURPOSE: A tray having a sound absorbing function is provided to minimize a noise inside a disc driving device. CONSTITUTION: A disc driving device is equipped a tray(100), a mechanism base(20), a holder of clamper(2) and a clamper(4). A disc(1) is arrived on a sound absorbing member(12) in a state ejected the tray(100) from the mechanism base(20) to an outside. The tray carries the disc(1) to an accessing position. In arriving the disc in the accessing position, the disc(1) is lifted by a spindle motor installed under the disc(1). When the disc is rotated in a playing mode or recording mode, a noise is generated by an airflow around the disc. The noise inside a disc driving device is reduced by absorbing and reducing the noise around the disc to effect a noise level inside the disc driving device with a sound absorbing member(12).
