PURPOSE: A production method of pulley for a water pump is provided to improve a quality of the pulley and to reduce a producing cost by producing with a rolling operation. CONSTITUTION: A plate work is performed in a regular size by cutting a steel plate having a regular thickness. The blanked flat sheet metal is extruded to become a cup shape as a center shape of a diameter and a depth at a normal temperature and is extruded again to be the cup shape of the diameter and the depth. The steel plate is drawn to have a height. The diameter is drilled a hole with a punch. An inner circumference of the punched diameter is finished and a thickness of a boss portion is reared. The steel plate is performed a forming process by a upper and a lower mandrels(23,25) to stick an outer circumference of the boss and a roll forming machine(20) having a first and a second forming rollers(22,24). Thereby a pulley for a water pump is produced by finishing the processed material and by coloring or upsetting a front face of the pulley.
