PURPOSE: An account fund transfer system and method is provided to intermediate an account fund transfer for a requester trying to do a remittance and to inform a requested of a receipt of money in a account by using a hand held phone or an e-mail. CONSTITUTION: An account fund transfer system comprises an account fund transfer server(100), a remittance terminal(110), a banking server access module(120), and a payment terminal(130). The remittance terminal(110) is a hand held phone or has an internet e-mail service program for accessing the account fund transfer server(100). The banking server access module(120) communicates with a server of a credit card corporation and Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute. An account fund transfer method comprises steps of a requester doing a remittance request(210), a requester transferring the fund from a self account to an account of an intermediate system(220), transmitting a certification message of the remittance to the requester(230), informing the requested of the receipt of money(240), requesting the payment(250), transferring the fund to an account of the requested(260), and certifying the fund transfer(270).
