PURPOSE: A shift locker of an automatic transmission lever is provided to employ a shift lock structure for fixing in a D-range on converting a transmission lever to a sports mode from an automatic mode. CONSTITUTION: A transmission lever(40) is converted to a sports mode by moving to a manual gate(46) while travelling after it is positioned in a D-rage of an automatic mode a sports mode. Then a push projection(18) pushing a flat spring(32) in the automatic mode goes back as soon as a rod assembly(16) goes back. Accordingly, while the flat spring(32) is inserted into a shift fixing groove(38) prepared on a base frame(36), a detent lever(22) pulling a shift cable(26) to be in the D-range is locked into the D-range transmission state by the flat spring. In addition, the transmission lever(40) forming the rod assembly separated from the detent lever(22) fixes the detent lever even if shifted up/down in the sports mode state so that the exact transmission is possible in the sports mode.
