摘要 PURPOSE: A method for quantifiable test of a tenacity of a welded part of thin sheets is provided to precisely measure a fracture toughness of a welded part of the thin sheets and base metals by forming a through hole having a smaller diameter and applying an external force by a punch having a larger diameter. CONSTITUTION: A method for quantifiable test of a tenacity of a welded part of thin sheets, in which a sample piece is made by connecting thin sheets(10) by welding, fixed at both end parts, applied an external force by a punch(20) on a portion to test a fracture toughness and observed generation of cracks to evaluate the fracture toughness of a welded part(12) and base metals, includes the steps of forming a through hole(13) of which diameter is smaller than a diameter of the punch on the portion of the sample piece to test the fracture toughness, and quantifying a biggest deformation and a crack state around the through hole by putting a center of the punch in accordance with a center of the through hole.
