METHOD FOR CHANGING REGENERATOR FOR GLASS MELTING FURNACE

PURPOSE: A method for changing regenerator for a glass melting furnace is provided, to reduce the construction period and to save the cost. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of comparing the position of a heating port (7) in the glass melting furnace (1) to be re-builded with the position of a chimney in the regenerator (10) and separating the upper vertical frame (13b) and the lower vertical frame (13c) by cutting the upper region of the vertical frame; setting a horizontal reinforcing girder (19) at the upper part of the lower vertical frame (13c); rearranging the upper vertical frame (13b) at the horizontal reinforcing girder (19) corresponding to the heating port (7) of the glass melting furnace (1) to be re-builded; and changing the length of the regenerator (10) according to the length of the glass melting furnace (1) to be re-builded.
