PURPOSE: A method for image search according to an automatic determination of feature weighting is provided to facilitate the search by attaining the feature weighting with more accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A method for image search according to an automatic determination of feature weighting includes first thru forth steps. At the first step, a plurality of image references are selected to measure the proximity of an image to be searched. At the second step, the proximity of the images to be referenced each other on every features of the image references. At the third step, the weighting are automatically determined by calculating the duty of each feature through the measured proximity of each feature. At the forth step, the proximity is measured through the automatically determined weighting and the image to be searched is searched on the basis of the proximity. |
