METHOD FOR REFINING NON-ORIENTED ELECTRIC STEEL CONTAINING PHOSPHOROUS ELEMENT

PURPOSE: A refining method is provided to obtain purity of molten steel and to reduce additional input amount of organic elements by lowering melting temperature at a final refining point. CONSTITUTION: A molten steel is refined in a furnace. The steel reflows to a vacuum furnace to be decarbonized and deoxidized. A non-oriented electric steel containing less than 0.008% of C and more than 0.020% of P is produced. The steel is output in a melting temperature of 1640 to 1660°C and finally contains 0.07 to 0.11% of C. Also, the steel is decarbonized by adding oxygen within 7minutes after reflowing.
