METHOD FOR ERASING OF MULTI-BANK FLASH MEMORY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A multi-bank flash memory device is provided to reduce a time spent in an erasing operation by sequentially performing the erasing operation with selecting every sectors of a bank erased according to an inputted bank erase command. CONSTITUTION: A bank address to select an optional bank is received(S30). A bank erase command to inform an erasing operation of the bank corresponding to the bank address is received(S35). An optional sector of the bank corresponding to the bank address is received according to the bank erase command(s40). When every sectors of the tank performed the erasing operation are not selected, a sector address is increased one by one(S50). When every sectors performed the erasing operation are selected, the every selected sectors are sequentially erased(S55).
