METHOD FOR OPERATING GAS BOILER FOR HUMIDITY CONTROL IN SUMMER

PURPOSE: A method for operating a gas boiler is provided to maintain pleasant environment by drying indoor moisture by automatically switching the operation mode of a boiler to heating mode when humidity is over a certain value by sensing high indoor humidity in summer. CONSTITUTION: While performing a hot water operation step, a microcomputer transmits a humidity sensing signal to a humidity sensing unit. The humidity sensing unit continuously senses indoor humidity and transmits the sensed result to the microcomputer. The humidity signals transmitted to the microcomputer are compared to a predetermined reference humidity value. If the sensed humidity is higher than the reference humidity, the microcomputer automatically switches the operation mode to a heating mode and senses the temperature of heating water. Heating temperature is set up to the value obtained by adding a certain value to the temperature of the heating water sensed by performing heating temperature setting step. Thereafter, heating operation is performed.
