DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ALARMING STATE OF OIL IN VEHICLE USING OPTICAL FIBROUS SENSOR

PURPOSE: A device and a method for alarming a state of oil in a vehicle using an optical fibrous sensor are provided to detect the state of oil supplied to each component of vehicle using the optical fibrous sensor and to visually alarm a replacing or an exchanging of oil to a driver based on the detected result. CONSTITUTION: An optical signal to show a state of oil supplied to a component is detected by using an optical fibrous sensor to generate a light based on a power offered when the power of vehicle is turned on. A detecting signal of oil state is generated by switching the detected light signal to an electric signal. The detected signal of oil state and a reference value of oil state are compared. A present state of oil stored in an oil fan is decided based on the compared result. The present state of oil is visually displayed on a gauge board of a vehicle based on the decided result.
