PURPOSE: A device for operating a computer program drive is provided for a user to enjoy with a body motion using a whole body of upper and lower parts of body such as hands and feet within a predetermined space, when executing every kind of a computer program such as a game for entertainment, aerobics, or dance dance revolution(DDR) dance performed in a personal computer, a business computer, a domestic or business game equipment. CONSTITUTION: A device for operating a computer program drive comprises a upper ceiling pad(2) and a lower bottom pad(3), upper/lower function signal sensing devices(4,5), a vertical space in a squared space(S), and a direction instruction signal sensing device(8). The upper ceiling pad(2) and the lower bottom pad(3) having predetermined areas are set in the upper and lower part. The upper/lower function signal sensing devices(4,5) are optional shapes of four quarters having predetermined operation areas in the upper ceiling pad(2) and the lower bottom pad(3), and set a group of light emitting units(4a,4b,4c,4d) and a group of light collecting units(5a,5b,5c,5d) configured by respectively setting many sensor devices such as an infrared ray sensor or a laser sensor in a row to be against each other toward a vertical direction. The vertical space in a squared space(S) is formed between the upper ceiling pad(2) and the lower bottom pads(3), by making a set line as a border line of the group of light emitting units(4a,4b,4c,4d) and the group of light collecting units(5a,5b,5c,5d). And the direction instruction signal sensing device(8) sets a group of an approach sensor for sensing a body approach lengthwise and crosswise where the light emitting sensor and the light collecting sensor are formed in one in an external side of the group of light collecting units(5a,5b,5c,5d) of the bottom pad(3).
