PURPOSE: A polyvinyl chloride resin composition useful as an artificial wood having a similar appearance and surface quality is provided by adding wood powder having an improved compatibility. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition comprises 100 weight parts of polyvinyl chloride resin having 780-1,300 of polymerization degree, 5-15 weight parts of methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene copolymer, acryl resin or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer as an impact intensifier, 0.5-6.0 weight parts of dibasic lead phosphate, lead stearate, cadmium stearate, barium stearate or zinc stearate as thermal stabilizer, 1-8 weight parts of titanium dioxide as an antioxidant, 5-15 weight parts of calcium carbonate, 1.5-6.5 weight parts of polyethylene wax, fatty acid or fatty acid ester as an antiadditive, 3-40 weight parts of the wood powder surface-treated by a physical property enhancer that is a coupling agent of formula I, II, III, IV and 0.5-5 weight parts of metal oxides such as ZnO, MgO, BaO or CaO as a neutralizer. |
