PURPOSE: An apparatus for refrigerating a heat exchanger of an outdoor unit of a window air conditioner is provided to uniformly distribute condensation water generated in an indoor heat exchanger for refrigerating an outdoor heat exchanger, improving refrigerating efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for refrigerating a heat exchanger of an outdoor unit of a window air conditioner includes a condensation water supplying element for receiving condensation water in an intermediate part of a heat exchanger(52) of an indoor unit to supply to an intermediate part of a heat exchanger(52') of an outdoor unit for refrigerating the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit, wherein the heat exchangers are divided into upper and lower parts and the condensation water supplying element has a condensation water receiver(61) longitudinally mounted in a separated part of the heat exchanger of the indoor unit for receiving condensation water dropping from above, a condensation water distributing tube(63) longitudinally mounted in a separated part of the indoor heat exchanger and formed with a plurality of discharge holes for dropping the condensation water to the outdoor heat exchanger, and a connecting tube(62) connected between the receiver and the distributing tube for supplying the condensation water to the distributing tube. |
