PNEUMATIC TIRE REDUCING NOISE

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to reduce noise by improving the shape of a tread face contacted with a road surface. CONSTITUTION: Noise is discharged through a horizontal groove(20) formed in the shoulder unit of a tire. A noise preventing sill(3) is formed in the horizontal groove. The sill modulates frequency of noise and reduces vibration of a tread unit. Also, the sill remarkably reduces frictional energy concentrated on the block of the shoulder unit while the tire is circled, and additionally increases handling performance with enhanced block hardness.
