PURPOSE: A treating method of wastewater using microorganism is provided, which is characterized in that organic matters are attached to the microorganism and settled, then, nitrogen and phosphorus are removed. CONSTITUTION: Wastewater flows into the contacting tank to fix on the microorganism, then, the mixed water passed to the first settling pond. Microorganism sludge and water are separated, and the sludge is passed to discharging tank of phosphorus. Treated water flows into the nitrifying tank which has media, and ammonium nitrate is oxidized into nitric nitrate. A membrane is installed in the nitrifying tank so that extra settling tank is not necessary. Mixed water is transferred to tertiary settling pond, and some of the sludge is returned to the contacting tank.
