PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to prevent edge crosstalk effectively without increasing actuation circuit heating or cost. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a first data line(100), a first dielectric layer, a common electrode line, a plurality of common electrodes, a second substrate, and a light blocking layer. The first data line(100) is formed on the first substrate with a right angel and receives image signal. The first dielectric layer covers the first data ling(100). The common electrode line is formed parallel with the gate line and receives common voltage. The pluralities of common electrodes are extended from the common electrode line and are parallel with the first data line. The second substrate faces the first substrate. The light blocking layer is formed on one side of the second substrate.
