PURPOSE: A system and method for information exchange is provided for a user to acquire desired information when the user requests some information to a web server. CONSTITUTION: A system for information exchange is consisted of information requester(1), collection and classification of the requester's information(4), web server(5), information administrator(2), and information provider(3). Information requester applies for information inquiry. The administrator posts the requested information in web server after classification. An internet user can be an information provider if the user knows the requested information after contacting to the administrator's web server and searching the posted information. An information provider gives the needed information to the administrator or informs the administrator of the fact of possession of the information. The administrator transmits the method of communication with the provider to the requester. The administrator can receive information fee from the requester, and some of the fee can be given to the provider.
