A device which comprises a movably arranged picking head (4) which is movable to a first position for picking up a component (1) from a web (2) and a second position for applying said component (1) to an object (3). The device is characterised in that the picking head (4) comprises a punching tool (6) which in said first position is adapted to engage with a material (10) for punching out said component (1), the material being arranged on said web (2), and a gripping means (8) for retaining the component (1) which is punched out in the first position. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method. |
