PURPOSE: A method for maintaining microorganism group in biological treatment process is provided, which is characterized in that supporting thread and contacting thread are provided to form contacting media. CONSTITUTION: A contacting media(200) is arranged according to the supporting thread(100), which plays a role of a post. The contacting media is composed of assisting thread(114) and contacting thread(112). The supporting thread(100) can be made of any kind of fiber, which has appropriate intensity, but poly propylene or polyethylene fiber is suitable. The diameter of supporting material is less than 10 mm. Contacting thread(112) is made of poly vinyl chloride thread or nylon thread. Assisting thread(114) and contacting thread(112) are mixed together to form the shape of the media and sufficient space.
