METHOD FOR DECREASING CALL DROP RATE OF MOBILE TELEPHONE IN CELLULAR RADIO TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for decreasing call drop rate of a mobile telephone in a cellular radio telecommunication system is provided to transmit more reverse frames by delaying transmission suspension limit point of the mobile telephone in case of continually being generated in a forward link, improve the quality of the forward link by using EIB(Erasure Indicator Bit), thereby continually receiving good forward frames. CONSTITUTION: A mobile telephone transmits an electric power through reverse directional link(s110). When continually receiving one hundred and twelve bad frames from a base station, the mobile telephone discontinue to transmit the electric power(s120,s130). When continually receiving 2 good frames, the mobile telephone resumes transmitting the electric power(s140). When not receiving 2 good frames until five seconds pass after receiving a first bad frame, the mobile telephone releases call(s170).
