PURPOSE: A television using common audio jacks and common headphone jacks is provided to share audio jacks and headphone jacks to simplify the structure of the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A television using common audio jacks and common headphone jacks includes a voice processor(6), a microcomputer(9), a switch(14), and a common jack(11'). The voice processor(6) detects, processes, and outputs voice signal in the broadcasting signal. The microcomputer(9) incorporates a control program. The switch(14) switches the circuit to input/output into/from the voice processor which receives voice signal and processes the volume, treble, and base. The common jack(11') is coupled to the switch(14), and inputs/outputs the audio signal. The audio is output from the voice processor to the common jack(11') while voice is being output, and the audio is output from the common jack(11') to the voice processor while voice input.
