PURPOSE: A method for deducting modified cepstral mean using low resolution data removal is provided to perform cepstral mean subtraction by removing data of low resolution. CONSTITUTION: A method for deducting modified cepstral mean using low resolution data removal includes a first through a forth steps. At the first step(201), the number of the frames of cepstral value out of the predetermined range and the cepstral mean subtraction variable are initialized. At the second step, the cepstral value is generated and the number of frames of cepstral value out of the predetermined range is calculated(203), and whether the any frame of cepstral value out of the predetermined range exists is determined(204). At the third step(205), next frame is processed when no frame exists in the second step. At the forth step(207), cepstral mean subtraction is performed when some frames exist.
