PURPOSE: A carrier drying device for a wet type printer is provided to improve the drying efficiency by effectively drying carrier absorbed in a drying roller by a blowing fan and a heater, so that the saturation of a lipophilic layer of the drying roller due to the absorbed carrier is constrained, thereby achieving a long time printing operation and solid images of high coverage. CONSTITUTION: A carrier drying device for a wet type printer includes a drying roller rotatably mounted in contact with a photosensitive belt for absorbing residual liquid carrier on a transfer surface of the photosensitive belt, a heating roller mounted to be able to contact the drying roller for evaporating the liquid carrier absorbed in the drying roller by heat, a blowing fan mounted adjacently to the drying roller for forcibly blowing wind toward the drying roller to dry the liquid carrier absorbed in the drying roller by the blown wind, and a heater mounted adjacently to the blowing fan for heating surrounding air of the blowing fan.
