METHOD FOR APPLYING SIGNAL PROCESS PROTOCOL FOR CALL SETUP IN LMDS NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for applying a signal process protocol for call setup in an LMDS(Local Multi-point Distribution Service) network is provided to apply a signal process protocol of a digital subscriber signaling-2 method to an LMDS network by using an upstream time slot to various CPEU(Customer Premises Equipment Units). CONSTITUTION: A method for applying a signal process protocol for call setup in an LMDS network comprises the following steps. An ATM user network interface spec. is applied to a signal process for call setup between a network and a multitude of subscriber device. A signal process protocol of a digital subscriber signaling-2 method is used as an upper layer protocol for performing telephone switching, signal switching of an integrated information communication network, and common line processing.
