PURPOSE: A preventer is provided to reduce noise and to prevent a scroll compressor from losing compressed gas in a channel by preventing the scroll compressor from rotating reversely during stopping. CONSTITUTION: Compressing chamber gas and coolant gas between a fixing scroll and a turning scroll flow backward to a low pressure unit. An eccentric unit(2) of a crank shaft(1) is placed on 1,4 positions of a settlement hole(6). Due to movement inertia, 3,4 positions of the settlement hole advance forward and 1,2 positions are lifted by the eccentric part. Then a preventer(4) changes the shape. Due to the change of the preventer, the outer diameter of the preventer is increased so that the outer circumference of the preventer contacts with the inner wall of a main frame(3). Thereby the preventer prevents a scroll compressor from rotating reversely with frictional force.
