PURPOSE: An apparatus for matching a frame relay network in an exchange is provided to receive a frame relay service from a frame relay terminal by adopting a frame relay access device, having the function for matching the frame relay network, in the exchange. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for matching a frame relay network(30) in an exchange(20) receives an access request message for the matching from an ISDN terminal(10). The access request message is interpreted in an interpreter(23). According to the interpretation by the interpreter(23), the exchange(20) allocates a data path in order to match the frame relay network(30). The exchange(20) converts the voice and character data transmitted from the ISDN terminal(10) to a frame relay cell assembly message, and then sends it to a frame relay terminal(40) via the frame relay network(30).
