PURPOSE: A method for testing an exclusive terminal subscriber line using a remote loop-back controller is provided to perform a test for an exclusive terminal subscriber line at a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing an exclusive terminal subscriber line using a remote loop-back controller comprises the following steps. A selected test object line is connected to a tester and the object line is changed to a loop-back mode by activating a remote control loop-back controller. The object line is tested by confirming the coincidence between transmitting data and receiving data. The remote loop-back controller of the object line is changed to a bypass mode if the transmitting data coincides with the receiving data. A line trouble procedure is performed if the transmitting data does not coincide with the receiving data.
