PURPOSE: A hybrid speaker for a vehicle is provided to allow the user to flexibly use the hybrid speaker as a car phone speaker or an audio speaker by switching the operating modes of the hybrid speaker. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid speaker has a speaker assembly(60) installed in a loop channel in the form of a head phone. A selecting switch(30) is provided to allow the user to choose an audio mode or a car phone mode. In respond to the mode switching signal, a converting switch(50) selectively supplies an output signal of an audio or an output signal of a car phone to the speaker assembly(60). A control section sends a switching control signal to the converting switch(50) according to the audio mode signal or the car phone mode signal inputted from the selecting switch(30).
