PURPOSE: A method for recording video signals of a closed circuit television is provided to record video signal relating to location information of the outer video signals. CONSTITUTION: A method for recording video signals of a closed circuit television includes first thru sixth steps. At the first step, a recording time and a pause time are set(S205). At the second step(S207), a recording key is selected when the video signal from the camera of the user preference location is displayed on a display. At the third step(S208), the video signal from the camera at the second step is recorded on one memory and counting begins. At the forth step(S210), the recording is switched to a pause mode when the recording time set at the first step is reached. At the fifth step(S212), video signals received at that time are recorded on the memory when the pause time set at the first step. At the sixth step, the preceeding steps are repeated.
