PURPOSE: A coupling structure of a suction silencer of a hermetic electric compressor is provided to simplify the assembly procedure and improve the sealing state by forming coupling parts on upper and lower cases and inserting a sealing element between the cases, improving the appearance of the coupling surfaces and reducing the noise, thereby improving the reliability. CONSTITUTION: A coupling structure of a suction silencer of a hermetic electric compressor includes an upper case(30) in a predetermined shape formed with a plurality of first coupling parts(30b) at contact surfaces, a lower case(40) formed with a plurality of second coupling parts(40b) to be coupled with the first coupling parts and forming a cavity chamber and a resonant chamber inside when coupled with the upper case, and a sealing element at contact surfaces inserted between contact surfaces of the upper case and the lower case for sealing the inside space between the upper and lower cases, wherein the first coupling parts are protrudedly formed in the shape of hook and the second coupling parts are formed in the shape of groove or vice versa.
